ORIGINS
YDK was established in 2014 as a movement of unity on the island of Curacao and since then it has evolved into so much more. It started as just a hobby, tackling the concept of unity by making a few hats with the tag line “United We Stand.”
It has been a decade since then, and now YDK has bloomed into something incredible. YDK is now a staple in fashion on and off the islands for our community; people wear the brand with pride for themselves and not for others. We could not have asked for more. YDK is not just a brand; YDK is a movement, YDK is a community and most of all, YDK is a feeling.

THE MISSION
Our mission is to unite and inspire our community to achieve greatness, no matter where they come from. We encourage everyone to embrace the greatness inside them and follow their ambitions. We believe that we can be successful especially because we are from an island in the Caribbean. Our heritage and our culture are our biggest strengths, make them yours as well.
YDK has become a wearable identity for our community and a staple in fashion on and off the islands. People wear the brand with pride for themselves and not for others. In the coming years, YDK will become a household name in sports as well. We’ve signed a multi-year deal with the Curacao Baseball National Team to produce the official caps on field and off field. In 2024 YDK will launch an active wear collection and moving forward connect with our community through what is in our hearts and runs through our veins: the love for the game. Whether it’s fitness, baseball, soccer, athletics, tennis, or any other activity, we will create performance wear to enable our community to achieve greatness.
